Last year I asked for Christmas stories and many readers responded with all kinds of stories - funny and sentimental, from times where money and space were short. There weren't that many international readers in 2012, and all the stories were in German.

I would highly appreciate your cooperation in sharing your Christmas time stories. We know a little about the role of toy trains under a North American Christmas tree but I can't remember to read how it really was. Would you like to share your memories?

How was it in Denmark, the Netherlands, in Finland, in Italy, Australia, Brazil and many other countries, when Santa brought your first train or Daddy secretly built the first layout for you?

There is no need to write in English because it's easier to express your feelings in your mother language. Versetzen Sie sich noch einmal in Ihre Kinder- und Jugendzeit zurück und schreiben Sie auf, woran Sie sich heute noch gern erinnern und warum Weihnachten auch die Zeit der Eisenbahnen war und ist. Es ist egal, wie lang Ihre Geschichte ist. Vielleicht haben Sie auch noch ein oder zwei Bilder dazu.
